Plugins Added to Waves Creative Access in 2026
Curves Resolve: Intelligent Frequency Unmasking
Curves Resolve is the third entry in the forward-thinking Curves series, providing an intelligent way to solve frequency conflicts between multiple tracks in your mix. You've chosen the right sounds, arranged the track and captured the vibe, but often elements still fight for the same space, causing masking and a muddy sounding production. Resolve addresses this by processing one track while listening to another via sidechain, actively carving out space only when and where an exact clash occurs so you never lose the original tone of your source.
The plugin goes far beyond traditional sidechain compression by offering both dynamic (real-time) and steady (learned) carving modes. It also functions as a highly capable ducker with two distinct modes: a "Wide" setting for classic full-band ducking, and a smart "Unmask" mode that strictly reduces clashing frequencies, keeping the background music clear and present. Add to this the instant Snapshot controls—which optimize the plugin’s behaviour specifically for vocals, bass, guitars, or synths—and you have a workflow that guarantees accurate, musical results in seconds.
While other unmasking tools can thin out your audio or compromise its original character, Resolve is designed to be almost impossible to overprocess. Whether you need to tighten the low-end relationship between a kick and a bass, or clear out dense instrumental layers so your lead vocal can finally breathe, it operates with total transparency. Complete with an included zero-latency Live version for tracking and front-of-house engineers, Curves Resolve ensures your mix remains clean, cohesive, and completely free of congestion.

Magma StressBox: Shape Musical Tension and Impact
Magma StressBox released as a Waves 2025 Black Friday Special. StressBox is a transformative dynamics tool built to handle the emotional weight of your tracks, pairing beloved analog vibe like compression with incredibly intuitive workflow. Sometimes a source just lacks movement, impact or emotional lift, no matter how much EQ, compression or saturation you throw at it. StressBox solves this by shaping musical tension in real-time, injecting immediate life and drama into flat, lifeless sources without the need for complex signal chains.
What makes StressBox stand out is its striking simplicity and versatility. From its single main knob, turn it right to get punchy, aggressive compression and turn it left for tight, controlled expansion that enhances transients, cleans up reverb tails and wraps your track in a tighter, more intimate feel. Despite having only one main control, it offers an endless combination of tonal characteristics tailored for quick mix fixes.
Whether you are trying to energize a sluggish drum bus, add consistency to a dynamic lead vocal or build tension between song sections through automation, StressBox adapts effortlessly. It’s a deeply musical processor that requires zero technical skills to master, featuring built-in AutoGain so you can make decisions based purely on feel rather than fluctuating levels. It’s not just about controlling peaks and valleys; it’s an expressive tool designed to help your mix hit harder and connect emotionally with the listener.
L4 Ultramaximizer: Adaptive Loudness Limiter Plugin
L4 Ultramaximizer takes Waves’ legendary limiter line into the modern world, and beyond. Built on the legacy of the L-Series, L4 gives you loudness with clarity, letting you push your mix harder without losing punch, shape, or transparency. It’s adaptive too, meaning it constantly listens to your track, analyses its sonic fingerprint, and automatically fine-tunes release timing and clipping behaviour. The result is loudness that feels open and musical, never crushed or flat.
L4 gives you five limiter modes to choose from: Modern, Smooth, Aggressive, Safe, and the legendary L2 style. Each mode is tuned for different mastering goals, whether you want that in-your-face modern chart mix sound or something smoother and more refined. You also get the usual features you’d expect from a premium limiter plugin, including True Peak, oversampling, detailed loudness meters, a graphic display mode, and high-quality dithering. It’s everything you need to master with confidence and control.
L4 isn’t just another limiter, it’s the new standard used for that final touch your mix deserves. Use the new Upward Compression to bring out softer details and give quieter sections more presence without losing punch. From mix bus to final master, L4 delivers consistent, radio-ready quality. It’s precise, musical, and designed to make your mixes shine.
InTrigger: Smart Drum Replacement
InTrigger is powerful drum replacement tool, built to handle not just the obvious hits but the nuanced feel of a real performance. InTrigger goes well beyond basic sample swapping. It picks up ghost notes with precision, filters out bleed automatically and lets you shape the sounds you’re after with very few clicks. No more messing with thresholds, chasing missed triggers or hand-editing every single hit. Just drop it on a track, hit “Learn” and InTrigger does the rest.
What makes InTrigger stand out is its feel. Most drum replacers struggle to maintain the groove of the original performance. InTrigger’s Humanize control changes that. It subtly adjusts the envelope and dynamics of each triggered hit, so repeated samples respond more naturally. Add to that the ability to audition samples in context using Waves’ built-in Cosmos browser and you’ve got a workflow that’s fast, intuitive and designed to keep you creating, not tweaking.
For studio or stage, InTrigger adapts. The included InTrigger Live version brings ultra-low-latency performance to front-of-house engineers using Waves LV1 or SuperRack, allowing real-time replacement or layering with no hardware required. Whether you’re shaping tones in the studio or enhancing a live kit, InTrigger makes it easy to fix, shape or reinvent your drums without sacrificing feel or wasting hours. It’s smart where it counts, simple where it matters and musical from the first click.
Curves AQ: Autonomous EQ
Curves AQ is an autonomous, AI-powered EQ plugin designed to help you make mix decisions faster, more intuitively and with better intent. AQ is smart, it listens to your audio and gives you five suggested EQ target curves to choose from. From there, you have simple controls to further tweak the results to taste.
AQ is an EQ that works like a collaborator — offering musically relevant suggestions that can tighten tone, clear out clutter and enhance focus in your mixes. EQs of this type are typically only smart on the surface, meaning they work by moulding your tracks to predefined target Curves. AQ doesn’t do that, each Curve it provides is totally unique to the sonic fingerprint and type of track you’re working on.
AQ also boasts a powerful MixSense feature designed specifically for unmasking between tracks. Place AQ on two tracks, say, a vocal and a guitar and MixSense will analyse both sources to detect where frequencies are clashing. It then applies surgical EQ adjustments to the masking track, giving space back to the main element without compromising tone. It’s a fast, mix-focused solution for achieving clarity in busy arrangements.
AQ was the second entry in the Curves series, following on from the success of Curves Equator. While Equator focuses on controlling resonances that takes the trouble of our tone, AQ’s power is in giving producers all the tools they need to improve impact and musically in tone.
Together, they form a complementary toolkit for cleaning, separating, and enhancing mix elements. Where Equator zooms in, AQ zooms out, offering a broader, contextual view of your mix, giving you a smart way to keep things clean, balanced, and musical.
Sync Vx: Powerful Vocal Alignment
Sync Vx is Waves’ vocal alignment plugin built with ARA 2 integration, making it not just fast, but deeply connected to your DAW in ways traditional plugins simply cannot match.
ARA 2 allows Sync Vx to access the audio directly within the timeline, so there’s no need to bounce, capture, or manual edit waveforms to get super tight sounding vocal stacks. What used to be a time-consuming, error-prone process is now a near-instant workflow. For producers working with vocal doubles, stacks, large harmony arrangements, Sync Vx is a massive time saver that simply sounds great!
What sets Sync Vx apart from other alignment tools is its surgical accuracy and musical sensitivity. It doesn’t just move vocal transients around blindly — it intelligently aligns phrases based on pitch, rhythm and feel. You can lock certain sections, adjust the tightness of alignment and even retain intentional timing differences where needed. It also features an intuitive visual interface where you can see and compare both the target and sync’d waveforms in one simple to read place. Even though Sync Vx does most of the heavy lifting for you, you’re always in control of what’s being changed, and how.
While other plugins might offer basic alignment, Sync Vx goes further. By offering creative alignment control rather than just corrective processing, you can shift timing and feel with intent, experiment with looser or tighter phrasing and polish background vocals or gang vocals in ways that enhance musicality instead of just making everything sound robotic. It’s fast, reliable, and production-ready right out of the box.
Waves Online Mastering: AI Mastering For All
Waves Online Mastering is not a plugin — it’s a cloud-based mastering service that uses Waves’ proprietary AI engine to deliver professional-quality masters in minutes. For producers, artists and mixers who need fast, consistent and great-sounding results, this is a powerful finishing tool that can take your mix across the finish line with minimal effort and zero technical guesswork. Waves Ultimate subscribers get credits included as part of their plan.
The AI engine behind Waves Online Mastering analyzes your uploaded mix and applies processing based on decades of mastering expertise. It adjusts EQ, compression, stereo image, limiting and other parameters to deliver a polished, competitive result — whether you’re releasing a track on streaming platforms, sending it out for feedback or testing a mix in a mastered context. You can choose between mastering styles (like Organic and Elevated), giving you creative control and choice over how the final tone should sound. Most importantly, this platform is built to maintain clarity and punch in your music without crushing the dynamics.
Waves Online Mastering is a great fit for independent artists, beatmakers, and producers who need to move quickly without sacrificing sound quality. Maybe you’re in a hurry to release, or maybe you just want to hear how your mix sounds with a bit of polish before handing it off to someone else — either way, it gets the job done. Mastering can often feel like a bottleneck, whether because of time, cost or simply not knowing which settings to use. And while no online mastering service is a replacement for a seasoned mastering engineer on high-stakes releases, it’s more than capable when it comes to delivering pro-sounding demos, singles or even full albums for release. It’s a fast, accessible way to keep your music projects moving forward. If you haven't tried Waves Online Mastering yet, and you're a Creative Access Ultimate user, do give it a go, your current subscription gives you access to use it a few times a month.
Plugins Added to Waves Creative Access in 2024
Immersive Wrapper: Take Any Waves Plugin and Produce a Spatial Mix
As spatial audio continues to grow across streaming platforms, film, gaming and other virtual experiences, producers and mixers are facing a major challenge: many essential plugins in the plugin market aren’t designed to work natively in immersive formats. Whether you’re mixing in Dolby Atmos or working in other multi-channel environments, the need for compatible tools is rising fast. That’s where Immersive Wrapper comes in. It bridges the gap between immersive workflows and the full power of the Waves plugin catalog.
Immersive Wrapper allows you to insert any Waves plugin, even those not built for multi-channel formats into your immersive session. As its name suggests, it’s essentially a plugin wrapper that enables you to use your Waves plugins correctly within a spatial context. The interface lets you route intelligently across channels, apply individual processing to beds or objects and manage how the plugin affects each stream. It’s seamless, stable and built for heavy-duty post and music work.
This tool is vital for modern producers and engineers who want to use their trusted Waves plugins in immersive sessions. Instead of waiting for new spatial-specific plugins to be released, you can keep working with the plugins you know and love. CLA compressors, our popular analog style EQs, classic reverbs and more, all easily integrated into immersive workflows with Waves Immersive Wrapper.
IDX: Intelligent Dynamics That Makes Compression Simpler To Work With
IDX launched as a limited-time free plugin for Black Friday 2024 and immediately made a name of itself as a compressor that has an unrivalled ability to focus energy in tracks without any guesswork. At its core, IDX is about solving one of the most persistent challenges in music production — how to get your tracks sounding punchy and present without overcooking the dynamics. Compression is usually the answer, but dialling it in correctly can take time, experience and subtlety. IDX flips the process: you don’t think like an engineer — you think like a producer, and the plugin handles the rest.
Unlike a standard compressor with threshold, ratio, attack, and release settings, IDX uses an intelligent algorithm that balances transient shaping and compression under the hood. The main IDX knob does all the heavy lifting for you, bringing forwardness and punch out without ever adding harshness or the sound that you’ve crushed the life out of your audio. It adjusts multiple parameters in real-time, tuned to the incoming signal, so you get consistent results whether you’re enhancing a kick, vocal, synth line, or even a full stereo mix. There’s also an optional Tilt Curve which helps you focus the plugin’s processing to specific tonal ranges in your music.
For beginners, it removes the intimidation factor of compression entirely. For pros, it’s a fast workflow enhancer, perfect for when you need immediate results or just want to test how far a sound can go. Whether you’re polishing drums, energizing vocals, or gluing a mix together, IDX helps your tracks hit harder, feel tighter and stand up more confidently in any playback environment.
Curves Equator: Resonance Suppression
Curves Equator is an AI-powered resonance suppression plugin designed to help you clean up harshness, tackle frequency buildup across tracks and, in general, takes the trouble out of tone for you before moving onto more creative aspects of mixing. It targets strong and unwanted resonant peaks that traditional EQs often miss or reduce at the cost of overall tone and presentation. Curves Equator, even when pushed hard never affects the original sound or character of your source. Whether you’re tightening a vocal, smoothing a violin, or cleaning up a drum overhead, Equator gives you clear, musical results with minimal effort.
At the heart of Equator is a smart AI-driven Learn function that analyses your audio and suggests a specific target curve for suppression. You can adjust the overall strength of processing with the main dial or further fine-tune the results per band. The interface is clear, responsive, and designed to get you where you need to go without slowing down your workflow.
Equator was the first plugin in our Curves series, following the success of Silk Vocal. Silk is also a tone and resonance suppression tool but was designed specifically for vocal production. It quickly became a fan favorite for its ability to smooth out vocals effortlessly before mixing. Equator took that idea and pushed it further, giving you deeper control, more flexibility and a broader use across every track in your mix.
StudioVerse Instrument & StudioVerse Audio Effects
With the launch of StudioVerse Instruments, we expanded the StudioVerse ecosystem from a mix-ready plugin chain platform into a fully-blown virtual instrument chainer as well. These are not traditional virtual instruments in the sense of pianos or synths, instead, they’re powerful FX-based performance chains that are expressive and unique. Think of them as sound design tools made from layered Waves plugins, all wrapped in a single preset that responds to MIDI or effects processing in new and creative ways. StudioVerse Instruments is an imaginative, genre-flexible playground built for inspiration.
Each instrument preset is made with existing Waves plugins that include macro controls, MIDI effects and a chainer for the VIs and plugins. Categories include melodic textures, ambient pads, glitchy one-shots, rhythmic FX and more, perfect to sketch ideas down with or build full productions from.
Alongside this, StudioVerse Audio Effects took over from what used to be StudioRack, which was Waves’ original plugin chainer that had embedded StudioVerse functionality. While StudioRack was a powerful tool, StudioVerse Audio Effects now offers a much more intuitive and modern experience. It brings the same deep plugin chaining, macro controls and artist-designed presets, but with a cleaner UI for easier navigation. StudioRack was the foundation and StudioVerse Audio Effects takes our community led mix chain platform to the next-level.
Waves Stream: Peer-to-Peer Streaming for Remote Collaboration
Waves Stream is a real-time audio streaming service available for Waves Creative Access subscribers. It’s designed to make live collaboration simple and professional. Instead of bouncing mixes or sharing files, Stream lets you send pristine audio directly from your DAW to a client, collaborator, or anyone you’re working with — either to their DAW via plugin-to-plugin streaming, or through a secure web browser link for instant listening on any device.
The system works through two dedicated plugins: one acts as a Sender, which you insert on a track or master bus, and the other as a Receiver at the other end of the session. Alternatively, you can create a shareable browser link from the Sender with a QR code, allowing real-time audio to be streamed to phones, tablets or laptops without needing any software or recording setup. Everything runs at high quality with minimal latency.
Waves Stream solves a major challenge in modern production: sharing your work quickly and professionally while maintaining full audio fidelity. It’s ideal for remote feedback sessions, live collaboration or even running virtual sessions with artists in other locations. Whether you’re working on a mix, scoring a film or recording vocals remotely, Waves Stream brings immediacy and clarity to your process. For subscribers, it’s a powerful bridge between creativity and collaboration, making your workflow faster, smoother and more connected than ever.
Space Rider: 3 Effects Plugins in One with A Twist
Space Rider is a multi-effects plugin built around the concept of motion. At its core is the “Rider,” a fader that rises and falls over time with the built-in effects. This movement can be tempo-synced, free-running, or manually shaped, giving you detailed control over how the effects interact with your audio. Whether you’re after subtle reverb throws or wild statement delays, the Rider makes static sounds come alive in musical, rhythmical ways.
Space Rider includes three main effects: reverb, delay, and modulation, each with its own set of parameters and character. Another unique feature is how the Rider can dynamically morph sounds between two banks of settings (A & B). If you wanted to use this plugin in a more traditional way, you can, and the controls for each effect are limited by design, giving you the most essential settings to dial in powerful ambiences without it taking an age to get there.
Whether you’re giving vocals subtle stereo spread, making synths breathe or warping a drum loop into something hypnotic, Space Rider turns simple sources into animated soundscapes. It solves the problem of static, lifeless effects by building movement right into the heart of the plugin — making it fast, fun and endlessly tweakable.
Plugins Added to Waves Creative Access in 2023
Silk Vocal: Resonance Suppression for all Vocals
Silk Vocal was launched in 2023 as another time limited free Black Friday gift and quickly proved itself as far more than just another seasonal giveaway. Designed as a vocal tone fixing tool, it delivers instant polish, smoothness, and shine, making it ideal for vocals that need that mix-ready treatment before moving onto traditional EQ and compression treatments. While it appears light on controls, it’s indeed heavy on results, giving users a quick way to lift vocals to the front of the mix by taming harsh, brittle sounds that often creep into the recording.
What makes Silk Vocal special is its simplicity and focus. It uses intelligent spectral processing under the hood to smooth out problem resonances while enhancing pleasant detail. The interface gives you the tools to dial in the perfect amount of clarity and brightness, which may mean you won’t need to apply EQ after. There’s also a very handy one fader control compressor that also helps to bring vocals forward, making it a perfect all-in-one plugin for getting clean vocal enhancement in a hurry.
Silk Vocal also acted as a quiet forerunner to Curves Equator, Waves’ more advanced resonance suppression plugin released later. While Equator dives deep into multiband processing with deeper flexibility, Silk Vocal delivers a distilled, instant version of that sound which makes it a great choice for users who just want great results without wanting to get too technical. It solves a common issue for producers who want their vocals to sound refined and radio-ready without diving into complex signal chains.
Magma Springs: Forever Classic Reverbs
Magma Springs is Waves’ tribute to the unmistakable character of spring reverb. That classic, metallic, bouncy sound heard on countless guitar amps, dub vocals, surf rock snares and vintage studio gear can all be enjoyed here. Spring reverb has a tone unlike any other: gritty, lo-fi, vibey and full of movement. It adds character and nostalgia without overwhelming dry signals, making it a staple effect for decades in everything from rock to reggae to indie. Magma Springs captures all of that magic in one plugin, giving you instant access to a curated collection of authentic spring sounds.
What sets Magma Springs apart from other spring reverbs is how it brings together a wide variety of styles in a single, easy-to-use interface. You get multiple types that reflect different eras and tonal flavors — from short, snappy 60s-style springs to longer, more washy and experimental tones. The Magma engine delivers that unmistakable tonal wobble spring fans love, while letting you tweak drive, tone and mix controls to tailor it to your track.
This plugin solves a key problem for producers chasing vintage vibe: spring reverbs are hard to replicate well, and most DAWs don’t offer good built-in options. Magma Springs gives you an all-in-one solution. Whether you’re adding slapback to a vocal, grit to a snare or just want to send your guitar down a time traveller tunnel then it’s ideal!
Waves Gemstones
Waves Gemstones is a collection of one-knob audio FX chains exclusive to Waves Creative Access subscribers. Designed for fast and inspiring results, each “Gemstone” is essentially a macro-focused audio effect. Behind the scenes, it’s a carefully crafted chain powered by Waves processing, but to you the user, it’s a single, intuitive collection of effects that radically transform whatever sound you pass through it.
What makes Gemstones unique is the variety and character packed into each one. Every Gemstone has a specific personality — some are subtle and sweet, others experimental.
Gemstones solve two common problems: creative block and time pressure. They give producers an easy way to enhance or completely flip a sound without reaching for multiple plugins or setting up complex chains. Think of Gemstones not as effects, but as production shortcuts that give your mixes a jump-start in creativity.
Scheps Omni Channel 2: Perfection Wasn’t Good Enough For Andrew
Scheps Omni Channel 2 is the evolution of one of Waves’ most-loved channel strip plugins that was developed in collaboration with renowned mix engineer Andrew Scheps. The original Omni Channel was already packed with everything you’d ever need from a channel strip. EQ, compression, saturation, de-essing, gating, ability to add another plugin within and more, it was all there in a clear, modular workflow that let you reorder sections and customize your signal chain as needed. We didn’t think it could get any better… but Andrew did. Version 2 brought a fresh layer of power and flexibility to the plugin while keeping everything users loved about the original.
The new features in Omni Channel 2 are indeed impressive and practical in a mix. A brand-new Punch module lets you add instant transient excitement and control, which has proved great for drums, vocals or anything that needs extra snap. There’s also an upgraded Gate section with Lookahead, helping users avoid the sound of early cutoffs. On top of that, Omni Channel 2 introduces zero-latency operation, so it’s now just as useful as a tool to record through as it always was as a mixing tool. As stated earlier, all of this builds on the foundation of the original’s success: surgical but musical EQ, multiple compressor types, analog-style saturation and full control over signal flow.
This plugin is a go-to solution for engineers who want total flexibility without complexity. It solves the common issue of projects being cluttered with a multitude of inconsistent plugin chains. Whether you’re treating vocals, bass, guitars or buses, Omni Channel 2 covers it, it covers everything, with the polish and sound of a top analog console with the ease of a plugin. It’s proved to streamline decision-making, reduces session setup times and keeps producers focused more on shaping sound, not managing tools.
Key Detector
Key Detector is more of a utility tool than a traditional audio plugin. It’s designed to automatically detect the musical key and scale of any audio that passes through it. While this isn't the kind of plugin that sits across every channel in your mix, it plays a crucial role behind-the-scenes streamlining pitch-based processing. For producers working with vocal tuning, pitch correction, harmonizing or key-locked effects, Key Detector takes out the guesswork and ensures the rest of the workflow stays musically grounded.
Key Detector was built to work seamlessly with several Waves plugins, most notably Waves Tune Real-Time, Waves Harmony, OVox and Vocal Bender. Once Key Detector identifies the correct key and scale, you can push that information directly into these connected plugins with a single click — no manual entry needed. This is a huge timesaver and ensures perfect integration between pitch tools, keeping everything in tune and musically coherent. It’s especially useful when working with unfamiliar vocal samples or sessions with no MIDI or notation references.
Key Detector solves two simple but critical problems: not knowing the key of your source material or not quite having the ear to work it out. Whether you’re tuning a vocal, layering harmonies or designing creative pitch effects, starting in the wrong key can lead to bad results or wasted time. Key Detector removes that barrier instantly, giving you confidence that your pitch processing will be accurate. In fast-paced creative workflows, this means smoother vocal production, tighter harmonies and more musically connected results without ever stopping to reach for a keyboard to work the key out yourself.
Clarity DeReverb
Clarity Vx DeReverb and DeReverb Pro are part of Waves’ AI-driven Clarity series, built to address one of the most common issues in modern recording: excess room ambience. Whether you’re tracking vocals in a bedroom, capturing dialogue on location, or recording in a live space, these plugins help bring the dry, direct sound forward while reducing unwanted reflections — making them essential tools for both music production and post.
Clarity DeReverb is all about simplicity and speed and features a single control which intelligently reduces reverb without smearing the audio or introducing artifacts. It’s perfect for quick cleanups and transparent processing. Clarity DeReverb Pro, on the other hand, is a more advanced version built for engineers who want deeper control. It includes multiband processing, advanced real-time visualisation and individual decay and reduction settings per band. This allows precise tailoring of the dereverberation process to the content, whether you’re dealing with a boomy room or fluttery high-end.
Not everyone records in a perfectly treated studio. Clarity lets users recover clarity (true to name), reduce the need for retakes and make recordings sound tighter and more focused. In music, it can rescue a great vocal take that was recorded in a reverberant space. In post, it saves dialogue recorded on-location, reducing the need for ADR. It’s not just about cleanup, it’s a production enabler that helps users focus on performance and content, rather than technical imperfections in less than ideal recording spaces.
Voltage Amps
Voltage Amps is a suite of guitar and bass amp plugins that give you a wide range of amp styles and tones with the feel and response of real guitar speakers. It was designed for producers and musicians who need authentic amp sounds directly in the DAW, whether they’re tracking electric guitar, shaping bass tones or adding amp-like color to other instruments during production. These amps and the wealth of presets are mix-ready right out of the box, making them ideal for modern workflows where speed and quality are key.
What makes Voltage Amps special is its highly playable response and versatile tone palette. Each amp model captures the nuances of popular guitar amps from over the years, offering everything from sparkling cleans to saturated overdrive and heavy distortion. Central to the experience is the Focus knob which is a unique control that dynamically tightens the low end which enhances tone making it easier to sit your amp sounds in a mix.
Voltage Amps eliminates the need for complicated mic setups, loud amps and treated rooms. Instead, it delivers polished, expressive tone all from one plug and play plugin. If you need to lay down rhythm parts, lead lines or aggressive bass tones, this suite provides the character and depth you’d expect from physical amps and opens creative possibilities for layering textures, adding saturation to non-guitar sounds or shaping the harmonic balance of tracks with analog-style edge.
StudioVerse
Along with the release of Waves Creative Access, StudioVerse arrived and was the next evolution of StudioRack (now discontinued). Expanding from an already flexible plugin chainer, StudioVerse added AI-powered search to help connect producers, engineers and mixers to mix-ready processing chains stored in the cloud. Think of StudioVerse as a fully customizable chainer and channel strip for any mix workflow. It gives you instant access to thousands of community-made mix chains for anything you need. Vocals, drums, instruments, mix buses, you name it, StudioVerse has hundreds of options for you to explore. Many users regard it as a bridge between inspiration and execution, helping to get rough ideas into polished sounding tracks with speed and confidence.
What makes StudioVerse stand out is the AI-powered search. Instead of scrolling through endless presets, you can simply play a portion of your track with some descriptive tags and StudioVerse will connect you with results best suited for your track. Every chain is built using Waves plugins, clearly labelled, fully tweakable and instantly recallable. You’ll also find signature chains from top artists and mix pros, all searchable and ready to load in one click.
The first version of StudioVerse helped producers avoid decision fatigue and did away with steep learning curves that many new users face when building plugin chains from scratch. It offered fast, pro-level starting points for nearly any sound source. For seasoned engineers, it gave a powerful way to recall their chains from anywhere in the world. For newer users, it simplified and demystified signal flow, plugin order and improved mix navigation. At its core, StudioVerse gave professional knowledge within a super easy to use collaborative platform directly in the DAW — We have since updated StudioVerse, now called StudioVerse Audio Effects as listed earlier in the article.
