"Is your EDM kick getting buried? Take all the music tracks except the drums and send them to a buss. Pull up the Renaissance Compressor on this buss and point the drum track to the Renaissance Compressor Key Input. Use a fast attack and fast release, low ratio, and control how much the music ducks out of the way with the threshold. You can do the same thing with vocals – if they’re getting drowned out by something you can sidechain the vocal to that instrument to push it out of the way, but only when there's vocal material present!"
