How to Find Third Party VST3 Plugins in SuperRack Performer

Sep 11, 2024

If you are trying to load your third party VST3 plugins in SuperRack Performer but you cannot find them, follow these instructions in order to make the plugins available.

  1. Verify the VST3 plugin you're looking for is installed on your computer.
  2. A given rack will show only plugins compatible with its format. For example, Stereo-only plugins will not show in the plugin list of a mono rack. If you’re not finding the plugin you’re looking for, try assigning a stereo input, then check if the plugin appears in the list.

Scan for VST3 plugins

  1. Launch SuperRack Performer.
  2. Click the menu below the highlighted rack.
  3. Go to VST3. If you use a custom plugin folder, then first go to Set Plugins Folder > Custom Folder and select your custom folder. Otherwise, only the default VST3 folder will be used*.
  4. Click on Scan Plugins. A progress bar will appear detailing which plugin is being scanned in the process. Click on Scan Plugins
  5. Once done, click OK. Once done, click OK
  6. Your VST3 plugins should now be available for you to add in the Overview and Rack tabs. Your VST3 plugins should now be available for you to add in the Overview and Rack tabs

  1. Click the menu below the highlighted rack.
  2. Go to the VST3 select Clear Caches and Rescan.
  3. Once done, click OK.
